Job Description
Kubota Australia is seeking a skilled Parts Pricing Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing, analyzing, and maintaining effective pricing strategies and information to meet business requirements.
As a subject matter expert, you will provide essential consultation to the business, ensuring informed pricing decisions are made. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of pricing activities, including managing price, margins, cost structures, and discounts, all while considering factors like demand, product lifecycle, and inventory levels.
You will conduct thorough analysis of customer, dealer, competitor, and market data, presenting findings to inform strategic decisions. The role involves developing and maintaining pricing models for specific spare parts categories, ensuring accuracy in the ERP system, and assisting with annual price file updates.
Key accountabilities include generating various reports, such as profitability analysis, pricing performance, and dashboards, to track progress against parts sales targets. You will also participate in departmental and cross-functional projects, and implement initiatives to enhance the parts pricing function, data, and systems.
Additionally, you will investigate and respond to dealer pricing review requests, and support master data uploads to maintain data integrity within the ERP system. A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace is also expected.

- Act as subject matter expert and consultant to the business for pricing decisions.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain pricing strategies and information.
- Conduct customer, dealer, competitor, and market data analysis.
- Develop and maintain pricing models for spare parts categories.
- Ensure parts pricing margins are correctly set and data is accurate in the ERP system.
- Undertake reporting, including profitability analysis and performance reporting.
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects.
- Implement initiatives to improve the parts pricing function, data, and systems.
- Investigate and respond to dealer pricing review requests.
- Support master data uploads ensuring data accuracy.
- Ensure health and safety of self and others in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Secondary education.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline/business (desired).
- Senior subject matter expert experience in a similar position with a focus on data analysis, pricing strategy and execution with proven commercial results.
- Experience gained within a spare parts context (desirable).
- Experience in setting pricing and margins of goods along with exposure to revenue and expense control principles.
- Well-developed general business acumen with exposure to sales/consumer behaviour/marketing.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on consultation/collaboration, report writing, and presenting data.
- Strong numeric capability and highly developed analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven planning and organizational expertise.
- Product knowledge of agricultural equipment, construction machinery and power equipment (desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems for spare parts management, including advanced SAP system skill.
- Highly developed general computing skills across the Google suite and advanced Sheets/Excel capability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment.
