Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with analysts to design and deliver dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical datasets using Power BI and related tools.
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance on data modelling, transformations, performance optimisation, and the use of AI-assisted features.
  • Support team planning and prioritisation, including breaking down work, estimating effort, and managing delivery timelines.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems across reports, datasets, and pipelines.
  • Provide people leadership through regular check-ins, feedback, and support for analysts’ technical development and delivery quality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data roles, including technical leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in analytics platforms, data modelling, semantic models, and reporting solutions.
  • Proven ability to design, review, and uplift scalable, high-quality analytical and BI solutions, using automation and AI to accelerate delivery and enhance solutions.
  • Strong delivery skills, including intake, scoping, estimation, prioritisation, and planning.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
