In this role, you will leverage your strong TypeScript and React expertise, contributing significantly to UI and interaction design. We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on professional capable of influencing architecture and solutions, writing exceptional code, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical projects.
Beyond your engineering prowess, you possess a keen eye for UI detail and usability. You are adept at working within established design systems and can make thoughtful design decisions when specifications are minimal or evolving. As an effective communicator, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers.
As a contractor, you will operate on a project basis, delivering high-quality front-end solutions while enjoying flexibility in your work schedule. You should be comfortable working autonomously, taking full ownership of outcomes, and consistently aligning with team objectives and timelines.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Contribute to UI implementation and light design work, including layout, interaction, and visual polish when required.
- Ensure type safety, maintainability, and scalability through effective TypeScript practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers or translate high-level requirements into intuitive user interfaces when designs are not fully specified.
- Apply and evolve design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and quality.
- Optimize components for performance across a wide range of browsers and devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and share knowledge.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve overall user experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Front End Engineer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Expert knowledge of React and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of best practices.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience implementing UI designs and making considered design decisions where needed.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first development.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams.
