webook.com, Saudi Arabia's premier event ticketing and experience booking platform, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team. We are instrumental in powering some of the Kingdom's largest mega-events, achieving over 2 billion in sales through cutting-edge technology and agility.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a primary focus on the ReactJS environment. You will conceptualize and build responsive and adaptive applications, working collaboratively within an Agile framework. This includes active participation in product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective processes.

You will collaborate closely with the product team and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of progress. Maintaining and adhering to pattern libraries, style guides, and site documentation is crucial. Furthermore, you will be a key contributor to advancing our front-end development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, and implement solutions using HTML, CSS, and Javascript as your tools and ReactJS as your environment.
  • Conceive and build responsive and adaptive solutions for website applications.
  • Work on an Agile team to develop, test, deploy, and maintain, while collaborating with team members on product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective.
  • Work with product team and stakeholders to understand and communicate progress.
  • Update, maintain and adhere to pattern-libraries, style guides, and site documentation.
  • Be an active contributor to front-end development best practices.

Qualifications

  • Frontend Developer with 3+ years of experience
  • HTML5/CSS3 and Vanilla JavaScript
  • Bootstrap or tailwind (both of them is a bonus)
  • Ability to transform an existing design to HTML/CSS (responsive and pixel perfect) as much as possible
  • ReactJS, Knowledge of hooks and functional components (not class components)
  • NextJS is a huge bonus
  • Typescript is a huge bonus
  • ES6 Javascript knowledge
  • HTML Accessibility knowledge
