Key Responsibilities

  • Own paid social strategy across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, from brief to optimization.
  • Build and manage campaigns with a rigorous testing mentality, knowing when to kill, scale, or iterate.
  • Partner with the Creative Strategist to turn learnings into actionable insights quickly.
  • Keep pace with platform changes and AI-native ad products, bringing recommendations to the team proactively.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our varied audiences to inform targeting, messaging, and creative direction.
  • Use AI tools and performance data to identify audience patterns and pressure-test assumptions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on paid media performance, partnering with the Data & Analytics team for accurate and meaningful reporting.
  • Go beyond surface metrics to surface insights that drive better creative, targeting, and budget decisions.
  • Design and run structured experiments across creative, audience, bidding, and placement.
  • Build a test-and-learn rhythm that the whole team can follow.
  • Partner closely with Data and Product teams to understand performance across diverse occupations and identify scaling opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong command of paid social platforms (Meta Ads Manager in particular) and a solid grasp of how search and social work together across the funnel.
  • Paid search experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work within platform automation and smart bidding tools (Advantage+, PMax, etc.) while knowing when to override them and why.
  • Experience using AI tools for reporting, audience analysis, creative iteration, or experimentation, and a genuine interest in pushing that further.
  • Ability to connect paid media activity to downstream outcomes such as cost per policy, LTV, or conversion rate, not just top-of-funnel metrics.
  • Familiarity with attribution modelling and incrementality thinking.
  • Experience working in environments where incremental impact is the standard, not just last-touch ROAS.
  • A natural collaborator who makes the people around them better.
  • Experience working with Product, Data, Analytics, and Tech teams to connect the dots between paid media activity and broader business performance.
  • Proactive and self-directed; you don't wait for a perfect brief to get started.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • Critical eye for detail with a genuine passion for quality and craft.

Benefits & Perks

  • Hybrid Flexibility: Three days working from the office and two days from home for Sydney-based employees.
  • Vibrant Team Culture: Energetic, supportive, and rewarding workplace with regular social events.
  • Exclusive Perks: Discounts and special offers through an employee staff app.
  • Charity Program: Opportunities to contribute and benefit through partnership with One&All.
  • Business-casual dress code.
