Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across upstream (exploration, production) and downstream (refining, distribution, marketing) sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, regulators, and industry players.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
  • Drive revenue growth by securing new contracts and expanding existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to align business opportunities with company capabilities.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans and sales pipelines.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and HSE standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in business development within the oil & gas industry (upstream and/or downstream).
  • Strong understanding of the oil & gas value chain.
  • Proven track record of winning contracts and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
