Job Description
Sundry Foods Limited is seeking a skilled Buyer to manage the procurement process for assigned business units. This role is essential for ensuring the consistent availability of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for planning procurement strategies, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the distribution of materials. Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting customer demand and optimizing operational costs.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sourcing strategies for assigned materials and product categories.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
- Place purchase orders and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet demand.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent understanding of sourcing and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
