Job Description

BH.NS Engineering Consultants is seeking a diligent Civil Inspector to join their project team in Dubai.

This role is crucial for ensuring that all civil engineering works on construction sites meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.

You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of civil structures, earthworks, and foundations, identifying any deviations or defects, and documenting your findings accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct on-site inspections of civil engineering works, including foundations, structural elements, earthworks, and finishes.
Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
Identify and report any defects, non-conformities, or safety hazards related to civil works.
Ensure that materials and workmanship meet project quality requirements.
Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings.
Witness relevant testing and material verification processes.

Qualifications

Technical qualification or certification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil inspection on construction projects.
Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
Familiarity with relevant international and local civil engineering codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and reporting skills.
