Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a member of an electoral assistance team, providing expert advice.
- Advise national counterparts on electoral best practices and procedures.
- Potentially lead projects, units, sections, or field offices within electoral missions.
- Report to the Senior Electoral Officer or integrate with UNDP/UNOPS country teams.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of electoral operations.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in political science, international relations, law, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in electoral assistance, election administration, or related fields.
- Experience working in international peacekeeping operations, special political missions, or electoral projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
