Your expertise will be instrumental in translating complex reform initiatives and technical developments into accurate, coherent, and strategically framed content suitable for various communication platforms. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, developing evidence-backed materials, and ensuring that all messaging is precise, defensible, and aligned with policy and legal frameworks. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with policy, legal, and delivery teams to thoroughly understand policies, reform initiatives, and technical advancements.
  • Translate complex policy, legal, and technical information into clear, structured content for public consumption, speeches, briefs, and stakeholder materials.
  • Act as the initial content interpreter, bridging the gap between subject-matter experts and the Communications Team.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and background analysis to support reform narratives, announcements, speeches, and strategic communications.
  • Develop evidence-based briefs, fact sheets, FAQs, talking points, and explainer notes to enhance communication outputs.
  • Ensure all messaging is accurate, defensible, and consistent with data, policy, and legal realities.
  • Contribute to the development of reform narratives and thematic storylines across oil, gas, power, and clean energy sectors.
  • Draft initial content inputs for the Communications Team, including key messages, summaries, sector explainers, and briefing notes.
  • Maintain linguistic consistency, framing, and positioning across all reform areas.
  • Serve as the primary content liaison for the Communications Team and external communication partners.
  • Clarify policy intent and factual context to communications teams to prevent misinterpretation or oversimplification.
  • Review draft communication materials for factual and policy accuracy prior to publication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in research, policy analysis, or strategic content development.
  • Proven experience within the Energy Sector is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex issues without compromising substance.
  • Comfortable and effective working collaboratively across technical, legal, and communications teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the capacity to thrive in multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Proficiency in policy analysis and interpretation.
  • Expertise in strategic writing and content development.
  • Skilled in research and evidence synthesis.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement.
