Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team at Norrenberger Securities Limited.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date financial records, ensuring the accuracy of invoices, managing general account inquiries, and facilitating the timely payment of client proceeds. Your contributions will be vital to the smooth operation of our financial processes and client satisfaction.
You will play a key part in financial planning and analysis, assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. This includes ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all trades, from order entry to settlement, and analyzing financial results and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Reconciliation will be a core responsibility, involving daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of all accounts and transactions to ensure complete accuracy. You will also develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions, and prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Furthermore, you will ensure data accuracy and integrity within our financial systems and reports, streamlining processes through automation and continuous improvement. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights for strategic initiatives and liaising with clients to resolve account-related issues will also be part of your remit.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all trades, including order entry, order matching, trade execution, and trade settlement.
- Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of all accounts and transactions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of board and investor reports.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast, providing clear explanations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems and reports.
- Streamline reporting and analysis processes through automation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for strategic initiatives.
- Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to resolve account-related issues and provide account updates.
- Provide analytical support for business cases, pricing, cost optimization, and capital projects.
- Participate in strategic reviews and provide recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to stockbroking operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance role.
