Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial risks and implement internal controls.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Optimize cash flow and working capital management.
- Drive initiatives for financial process improvements and efficiency gains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CFA is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial risks and drive financial performance.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
