Job Description

Norrenberger is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategic financial planning.

This senior leadership position is critical for ensuring the financial health of the organization, driving profitability, and providing key insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
Manage financial risks and implement internal controls.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Lead and mentor the finance team.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
Optimize cash flow and working capital management.
Drive initiatives for financial process improvements and efficiency gains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CFA is required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian financial regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage financial risks and drive financial performance.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
