Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance/Accounts Manager to lead our financial operations within the dynamic oil and gas sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity and strategic direction of our projects. You will be responsible for comprehensive financial oversight, including meticulous budgeting, insightful financial planning, and proactive cash flow management. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining compliance with all relevant financial regulations and contributing significantly to our company's overall financial strategy and project success.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and meticulously track budget variances.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports detailing project performance, cash flow dynamics, and capital expenditure analysis.
- Effectively manage cash flow, optimize working capital, oversee debt recovery processes, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Guarantee adherence to internal policies, Nigerian regulatory requirements, and international financial standards, facilitating internal/external audits and resolving any identified findings.
- Oversee all tax filings and ensure strict compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Proactively identify and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
- At least 3 years of experience in a dedicated managerial position.
- Demonstrate strong and relevant experience within the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Exhibit proficiency in financial software, including experience with systems like SAP.
- Possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
