Job Description

Chi Farms Ltd is seeking a dedicated Finance Analyst to join their team in Ibadan. This role is integral to supporting the company's financial operations through meticulous data analysis and reporting.

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing comprehensive reports, and identifying key trends. Your duties will include monthly reviews of vendor accounts and payables, as well as reconciling and preparing reports for commercial broiler batches.

You will also perform GL scrutiny of commercial broiler accounts, maintain financial records in compliance with regulations, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Ensuring the confidentiality and proper use of data is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in financial analysis, including gathering and analysing financial data, preparing reports, and identifying trends and insights.
Monthly review of vendor’s account.
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
Monthly review of other payables
Reconciliation and preparation of monthly report of all commercial broiler batch.
GL scrutiny of all commercial broiler accounts head with the sub-ledger on Navision.
Maintaining financial records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Staying updated on industry trends and best practices related to accounts payable processes
Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data.

Qualifications

First degree in Finance, Accounting and any related discipline
Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in relevant field
Excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills)
Attention to details
Strong problem solving & analytical skills
Good knowledge in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
