Job Description

Are you a skilled professional in video production, eager to craft high-quality content that captivates audiences? Do you possess a talent for storytelling, consistently uncovering fresh ideas and unique angles that drive views and engagement?

Are you passionate about empowering WordPress website creators and guiding them through their journey with your video expertise? If the prospect of using video to communicate powerful messages, build brand presence, and support WordPress creators excites you, this role might be an ideal fit.

We are seeking a creative individual adept at both video production and innovative idea generation for both long and short-form videos. You will join us as our Video Content Creator, contributing to our three key products: WP Rocket, Imagify, and RocketCDN.

As a Video Content Creator, your primary responsibility will be to produce compelling video content that aligns with our marketing strategies, aiming to attract and engage our target audiences. Your video content will be instrumental in enhancing our brands' visibility and the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.

In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing and become an integral part of our dynamic marketing team. We operate on a fully remote basis and are excited to welcome talent from new locations to our global team.

Key Responsibilities

Research current trends and audience preferences to inform video content creation.
Develop and maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual style across all video content.
Craft and execute a video content strategy for WP Rocket, Imagify, and RocketCDN, tailored to each platform.
Record yourself discussing technical topics related to web performance and WordPress.
Produce, edit, and share engaging video posts regularly, responding to user interactions.
Conceive and produce video ads with strong hooks and visuals designed to capture attention quickly and drive measurable results (clicks, sign-ups, conversions).
Test different hooks, formats, and creative angles for paid campaigns, iterating based on performance data.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure video content supports campaigns and brand goals.
Track the performance of video content, analyze metrics, and make data-driven decisions to refine and improve strategy.

Qualifications

Strong storytelling skills with a knack for crafting compelling narratives through visual media.
Proficiency in video editing, including sound, lighting, and post-production tools.
Solid understanding of WordPress or a genuine interest in technical products, with the ability to translate complex features into engaging video content.
Excellent written and spoken English proficiency, with impeccable spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
Proven working experience in video marketing, particularly creating content for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver on time.
