Job Description
Embark on a foundational career journey with CTG's Account Management Internship. This program is designed to provide aspiring professionals with comprehensive, hands-on experience within the dynamic humanitarian and development sectors. You will be an integral part of our operations, gaining exposure to client management, reporting processes, and essential administrative tasks.
Our internship model follows the 70-20-10 approach: 70% on-the-job learning through shadowing and assisting with client accounts and operational duties, 20% learning from experienced colleagues and mentors, and 10% formal learning via onboarding and CTG's online training platform.
This is an exceptional opportunity to develop critical professional skills, understand the nuances of international aid work, and contribute meaningfully to impactful global initiatives.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers in managing client portfolios and daily operations.
- Assist in preparing client reports, presentations, and follow-up documentation.
- Track client requests, feedback, and action points.
- Support coordination between Account Managers and HQ.
- Support preparation of internal and external reports.
- Maintain trackers for contracts, staffing, invoices, and deliverables.
- Assist in improving reporting tools and processes.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including shortlisting and documentation.
- Support onboarding and induction of new staff.
- Help organize refresher trainings and town halls.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial documents (COOs, quotations, supporting files).
- Support invoice tracking and payment follow-ups.
- Assist with documentation for audits and compliance.
- Actively participate in trainings and mentorship activities.
- Demonstrate initiative in learning CTG systems and processes.
- Apply feedback to improve performance and skills.
Qualifications
- Final Year Student in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Political Science, or related fields.
- Recent graduate in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Political Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 0 year/s of demonstrable relevant experience in any relevant field.
- Fluent in English (essential).
- Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail.
- Interest in humanitarian and development work.
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to learn.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Somali is an advantage.
