About the Company
The Interledger Foundation is a forward-thinking nonprofit dedicated to fostering a more equitable and creative global society. They are building an open payments network designed to connect and benefit everyone, irrespective of their identity, location, or financial standing.
Their work focuses on three key areas: cultivating a robust community of web advocates and leaders, championing innovative solutions that connect humanity, and stewarding the development of open payment technology and standards. The foundation is deeply committed to combating financial exclusion, which they recognize as a tool for oppression and systemic inequity.
Their ambitious goal is to decentralize power and financial control, envisioning a future where sending money online is as effortless as sending an email. This vision aims to empower individuals worldwide by enabling seamless transactions for buying, selling, and sharing, ultimately paving the way for universal financial inclusion.
