Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting records.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems, ERP platforms, and automation initiatives.
  • Utilize accounting software and digital tools to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • A Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience within a financial services or other regulated corporate environment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
