We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team, contributing to the company’s financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and general ledgers.
- Prepare, review, and process customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing in line with contract terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and reconcile customer accounts.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory remittances, IFRS, and company financial policies.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing the required financial documentation.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and other accounting records.
- Liaise with internal departments and clients to resolve invoicing, payment, and reconciliation issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or active pursuit of certification is an added advantage.
- 3–5 years’ accounting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas servicing industry.
- Demonstrable experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
