Job Description

ACE Group is seeking a highly technical and results-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join their impactful team.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the technical execution of data workflows, transforming complex health and social sector datasets into clear, actionable insights. Your responsibilities will encompass data architecture, advanced analysis, and the development of sophisticated dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple program sources.
  • Prepare dashboards, charts, and data visualizations for program reporting.
  • Conduct descriptive and trend analysis on program indicators and performance data.
  • Maintain data quality by identifying and flagging inconsistencies or gaps.
  • Develop and maintain data trackers and reporting templates.
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly data reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document data processes, definitions, and data dictionaries.
  • Support data entry validation and reconciliation across program databases.
  • Collaborate with MERL and program teams to understand data needs and translate them into analytical outputs.
  • Prepare data summaries and presentations for learning and decision-making sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a highly quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 3 – 6 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or research implementation.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for database design, writing complex queries, and managing data warehouses.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, automation, and applying statistical methodologies to social impact metrics.
  • Strong familiarity with digital data collection platforms used in the development sector, such as DHIS2, KoboToolbox, or ODK.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex statistical findings into clear insights for program teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage technical priorities independently, deliver data products on tight timelines, and maintain a strict commitment to data security protocols.
