Job Description

Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team in Port Harcourt, Rivers.

This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment within the Amadi Base facilities. You will be responsible for the upkeep of AGO fuel tank farms, fuel purifiers, and diesel generators, alongside performing facility inspections and basic repairs.

Key responsibilities include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, managing spare parts inventory, and leading operations for bunkering and fuel purification. You will also support passenger transfer operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of base mechanical equipment and services.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all base mechanical equipment.
  • Complete required reporting related to inspections and maintenance activities (daily reports, final reports at the end of the works, handover reports).
  • Keep stock of spare parts / materials stock up to date.
  • Lead the operation and maintenance of bunkering, fuel purification and fuel tank activities.
  • Support passengers transfer operations ensuring zero incident.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical)
  • 5 years in mechanical maintenance role in marine or Oil & Gas Sector.
  • Experienced in operating and basic servicing of diesel generators.
  • Experience in bunkering and fuel purifier operation.
