Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Electrical Engineer to join our team, focusing on essential maintenance tasks within our workshop operations.

In this role, you will provide crucial support in performing both preventive and corrective electrical maintenance for workshop equipment and machinery. Working under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, your efforts will be key to ensuring operational efficiency and upholding the highest safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical faults, utilizing diagnostic devices like multimeters and oscilloscopes. You will also be responsible for interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues.

You will execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities and participate in replacing damaged electrical components, followed by thorough testing to ensure equipment readiness. Accurate record-keeping and data entry into the maintenance system (CMMS) will also be part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and perform basic electrical maintenance tasks (preventive and corrective) for workshop equipment and machinery.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults using diagnostic devices.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
  • Participate in replacing damaged electrical components and testing equipment post-repair.
  • Update maintenance logs and enter data into the maintenance system (CMMS).
  • Assist in identifying required spare parts, tools, and materials.
  • Coordinate with workshop technicians and prepare daily status reports.
  • Strictly adhere to occupational safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop working environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of using electrical testing tools and reading technical catalogs.
