Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced buyers in selecting appealing products for supermarket shelves.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions.
- Support the development and maintenance of strong supplier relationships, including negotiating terms and delivery schedules.
- Contribute to maintaining optimal inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Aid in negotiating pricing and promotional deals to ensure competitive market positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align product selections with business strategies.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND in Purchasing and Supply, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience in a retail or related field.
- Not more than 30 years of age.
- Must have completed NYSC or possess an exemption letter.
