Job Description
Austine Mali Clothing is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator to become the digital voice and ambassador of our brand. This role is pivotal in developing and executing our social media strategy, producing captivating content, and significantly growing our online presence across platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
You will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing high-quality photo and video content, including studio sessions and event coverage. Your work will drive traffic to our website, educate customers, and align with our e-commerce and marketing initiatives. Staying abreast of fashion trends and competitor activities will be key to informing your creative output.
This position also involves engaging with our online community, fostering relationships with influencers, and representing the brand professionally at various events. You will prepare detailed monthly reports on performance metrics, using data insights to optimize strategies and provide recommendations directly to the Creative Director.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals.
- Schedule, post, and manage daily content across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Maintain monthly content calendars featuring new arrivals, brand stories, and promotions.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize content for engagement and growth.
- Stay updated on platform trends, algorithms, and new digital tools.
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit original photo and video content.
- Create posts celebrating national holidays and notable events in Nigeria and the UK.
- Produce high-quality studio content during twice-weekly sessions.
- Collaborate with models, photographers, stylists, and the creative team.
- Create premium product images for e-commerce while maintaining brand consistency.
- Repurpose content for reels, TikToks, ads, and web usage.
- Develop content strategies to drive traffic to the brand website and improve conversions.
- Produce content educating customers about stockists, new collections, and events.
- Align social media activities with e-commerce and marketing initiatives.
- Use analytics to refine digital strategies.
- Stay updated on global and local fashion trends and cultural conversations.
- Study competitors and influencers for creative inspiration.
- Incorporate trend insights into visual storytelling.
- Visit stockists to create engaging in-store and customer-experience content.
- Attend events, pop-ups, exhibitions, and fashion shows to capture live visuals.
- Support editorial shoots, lookbooks, and collection campaigns.
- Represent the brand professionally at events and collaborations.
- Build a strong, loyal online community through active engagement.
- Identify and partner with influencers and brand ambassadors who fit the brand ethos.
- Prepare detailed monthly reports on engagement, reach, and conversions.
- Use data insights to guide creative decisions and marketing improvements.
- Provide recommendations directly to the Creative Director.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
- A strong, demonstrable portfolio showcasing photography, video production, and/or graphic design work.
- Proven track record of growing social media followings and driving meaningful engagement.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom) and/or Canva.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with an excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Deep understanding of fashion, aesthetics, and visual trends.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
