Job Description
Caiz is seeking a highly analytical and operationally astute VP of Exchange and Liquidity Operations. This pivotal role will spearhead our crypto exchange infrastructure, trading operations, and liquidity strategy. You will be instrumental in maintaining deep liquidity, ensuring smooth trading experiences, and upholding trusted operations across Caiz’s diverse crypto products, including our centralized exchange (CEX), decentralized liquidity tools, and token market-making initiatives.
Your leadership will guide the team responsible for managing exchange integrations, meticulously monitoring liquidity, optimizing spreads, ensuring capital efficiency, and cultivating strategic partnerships with liquidity providers and market makers. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Own and oversee end-to-end operations of Caiz’s exchange and liquidity platforms.
- Develop and execute liquidity strategies to support deep order books, minimize slippage, and ensure seamless trading experiences.
- Manage integration with centralized and decentralized exchanges, liquidity aggregators, and institutional trading partners.
- Monitor and optimize spreads, trading volume, token performance, and capital allocation across platforms.
- Lead internal market-making operations, including automation and risk controls.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational transparency in liquidity and exchange processes.
- Build relationships with external liquidity providers, custodians, OTC desks, and market infrastructure providers.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, engineering, and finance teams to enhance trading, treasury, and settlement workflows.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for real-time monitoring of liquidity performance and exchange health.
- Lead and grow a high-performing liquidity and trading operations team.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in exchange operations, trading, or liquidity management, preferably in crypto, fintech, or financial services.
- Deep understanding of crypto exchanges (CEX/DEX), order book mechanics, liquidity pools, and market-making strategies.
- Proven experience with exchange integrations, trading APIs, and liquidity optimization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using trading dashboards, metrics, and algorithmic tools.
- Familiarity with token economics, DeFi protocols, and treasury operations.
- Experience working with compliance and finance teams in regulated environments.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Fluent in English.
