Job Description
We are seeking a highly competent Operations & Logistics Officer to lead the launch and stabilization of our new branch in Port Harcourt. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless logistics execution.
Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and monitoring all logistics operations, from transportation and warehousing to distribution. You will track shipments, manage inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and prepare performance reports.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Track shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels, providing timely updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks.
- Manage company assets and ensure proper utilization and maintenance.
- Prepare operational and logistics performance reports for management.
- Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with finance and other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the Port Harcourt branch office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, fleet management, and warehousing systems.
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and cost-control skills.
- High level of accountability, structure, and leadership presence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and logistics management tools.
