Job Description
OLD ALYX Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Ibadan. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of daily medication dispensing and overall pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include interpreting prescriptions, managing inventory, handling billing, and ensuring medications are stored correctly to maintain their efficacy and safety. We are looking for a professional who can work both independently and collaboratively to uphold our commitment to excellent patient care and a well-organized pharmacy environment.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients in line with prescriptions.
- Interpret prescription orders accurately and flag unclear entries for clarification.
- Manage pharmacy inventory: stock receiving, arrangement, tracking, and documentation.
- Handle medication billing and proper record-keeping.
- Ensure proper storage of medications (temperature control, FIFO/expiry monitoring).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
- Report low stock and medication shortages.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
- Valid registration/license with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
