Job Description

ARN Foods Limited is actively seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to oversee and optimize its rice mill operations. This is a critical role responsible for leading all aspects of production, from raw material intake to finished product dispatch.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement across the plant. This position reports directly to the Managing Director and is based in Epe, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all rice mill operations to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
Oversee end-to-end production processes, from raw material handling to finished goods.
Ensure adherence to stringent quality standards throughout the production cycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reduce waste.
Manage production planning, maintenance schedules, and operational budgets.
Supervise and mentor plant staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
Implement and manage ERP systems and plant automation tools.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
8-12 years of progressive experience in plant management, with at least 5 years in senior-level FMCG factory or plant management.
Strong expertise in rice mill commissioning, operations, and machinery.
Proven experience managing large-scale production facilities.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with production planning and maintenance systems.
Familiarity with ERP systems and plant automation tools.
