Job Description

Photoroom is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to enhance the user experience across our innovative mobile, web, and API products. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence a product used by millions, working end-to-end from user research and UX strategy to UI design and the development of our design systems.

You will collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams, enjoying a high degree of autonomy and impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user experiences across mobile, web, and API products.
  • Conduct user research and translate findings into intuitive design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain UI designs and contribute to the evolution of our design systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
  • Balance platform standards with Photoroom's brand expression.
  • Prioritize product impact and make pragmatic design decisions.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance design workflow and production speed.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams (Growth, Community, Brand, ML) to ensure product coherence.

Qualifications

  • Active portfolio with recent mobile UI work demonstrating strong typography, color, and space.
  • Good understanding of responsive design requirements.
  • Proven ability to balance speed with design impact and deliver at pace.
  • Experience working with design systems and thinking in terms of interconnected systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions fluently.
  • Experience designing user interfaces across multiple platforms (mobile, web, etc.).
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma.
  • Good knowledge of graphic and animation tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects).
