Job Description

Zedcrest Wealth is seeking a highly experienced Product Manager to join their specialized product team. This role is instrumental in developing and delivering cutting-edge asset management products, including savings and investment solutions, for a diverse clientele ranging from individuals to institutions.

You will collaborate closely with sales, portfolio management, and marketing teams to identify client needs, analyze market trends, and propose innovative product solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Monitor the product progress and coordinate with developers, designers, market team, operation team, management and other departments
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
  • Provide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages
  • Study product papers and write high-level requirements and tasks
  • Support the Product Owner and Marketing team with any questions they may have
  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
  • Plan sprints and negotiate timelines with the software engineering and design team
  • Develop Features, Epics and Stories and work with the development team to organize planning, review and retrospective sessions

Qualifications

  • First degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Product management within the Financial Services industry
  • Proven work experience in product management as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Scrum Master, specifically within the Finance, Financial Services or Financial Technology industry
  • Solid product design and project management knowledge, especially skilled at discovering user demands through data analysis
  • Ability to think logically, work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Be able to organize and coordinate resources to solve problems and achieve goals in collaboration with different departments
  • Be proactive, enthusiastic, responsible to our customers and to your team
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Prior experience with managing a team of software developers, user experience designers, QA testers
  • Solid judgement of good design, impeccable grammar and excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in product management tools and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
