Job Description

We are urgently seeking a skilled Blending Officer to join our manufacturing team in Anambra State. This role is pivotal in ensuring the precise and efficient production of our FMCG products, adhering strictly to quality standards and safety protocols.

Your primary responsibilities will include operating production machinery, accurately measuring and mixing raw materials according to specific recipes, and monitoring blending processes for consistency. You will also be involved in drawing samples for quality control testing, making necessary adjustments, and performing routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Maintaining detailed production records, including batch numbers and ingredient usage, is crucial for traceability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Machine Operation: Loading/unloading mixing tanks or machinery, setting timers, and monitoring blending processes to ensure consistency.
  • Formula Compliance: Accurately measuring and mixing raw materials based on specific recipes or work orders.
  • Quality Control: Drawing samples for testing to examine texture, color, or composition, adjusting as needed.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Performing routine cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of equipment, while following safety procedures (PPE usage).
  • Documentation: Recording production data, batch numbers, and ingredient usage to maintain traceability.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or its equivalent
  • 1 year of working experience in the food manufacturing industry, or fresh graduates with interest in FMCG
  • Male gender preferred for gender balance
  • Age between 22-27 years
