Job Description

Our fashion brand in Gbagada is seeking a skilled and proactive Operations Lead/Production Manager. This role is critical for overseeing all aspects of production and business operations, ensuring the smooth execution of our manufacturing processes and timely delivery of products.

Key responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating with vendors for high-quality materials, managing the end-to-end manufacturing process from sample development to bulk production, and implementing rigorous quality control standards. You will also oversee inventory management, order fulfillment for various sales channels, and optimize backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors for fabrics, trims, and packaging materials to ensure high quality and cost-effectiveness.
Production Management: Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, managing timelines for sample development, grading, and bulk production to ensure collections launch on schedule.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce strict quality control standards at every stage of production to minimize defects and ensure garment consistency.
Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with external factories, artisans, and suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact.
Costing: Track production costs, minimize material waste, and optimize the manufacturing budget without compromising the brand's standard.
Inventory Management: Track both raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate stock levels across all sales channels and storage facilities.
Order Fulfillment: Manage the logistics of packaging, shipping, and tracking for e-commerce, custom, and wholesale orders.
Systems & Processes: Maintain and optimize backend systems, including e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), inventory software, and point-of-sale systems.
Team Leadership: Oversee the daily workflow of the production floor and administrative staff, managing schedules and ensuring a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
Facility Management: Ensure the studio, office, and production areas are well-maintained, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
