Job Description

Valleysoft, an Egypt-based IT services provider, is seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This role is ideal for a developer passionate about enterprise integration and middleware solutions. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining secure, reliable services that support complex business and technical needs, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining MPGW, Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall services, developing XSLT-based transformation logic, and troubleshooting/performance tuning IBM DataPower services. You will also collaborate closely with integration, application, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain MPGW, Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall services.
Develop and support XSLT-based transformation logic for integration workflows.
Troubleshoot, debug, and performance tune IBM DataPower services.
Collaborate with integration, application, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in enterprise integration and middleware technologies with strong IBM DataPower expertise.
4 to 6 years of relevant experience in IBM DataPower development, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning IBM DataPower services.
Hands-on experience with XSLT development and transformation logic, along with proficiency in XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, and REST-based web services.
Experience configuring and managing IBM DataPower services including Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall.
Strong understanding of SOA and middleware integration concepts, with knowledge of security protocols and policies including OAuth, SSL/TLS, and AAA.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments and collaborating with integration, application, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Proficient in English for technical discussions, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional and international delivery teams.
Eligible to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
