Job Description
Our company, a leading construction and project management firm in Ilupeju, Lagos, is looking for an experienced Site Engineer/Builder to join our expanding team. We are renowned for delivering exceptional residential, commercial, and industrial building solutions, emphasizing innovation, functionality, and superior craftsmanship.
In this crucial role, you will take charge of construction projects from their initial stages through to completion. Your expertise will ensure that all projects are executed precisely according to design specifications, within budget, on schedule, and in strict adherence to safety protocols. We are seeking a candidate with significant hands-on experience in building construction, a robust technical foundation, and outstanding site coordination capabilities.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring work aligns with engineering plans and specifications
- Coordinate effectively with architects, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers
- Prepare and accurately interpret site layout plans, structural drawings, and project schedules
- Monitor construction progress diligently to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with quality standards
- Manage site materials, equipment, and labor resources with maximum efficiency
- Provide expert technical guidance and proactively resolve any issues arising during construction
- Maintain comprehensive site records, daily logs, and report regularly to management
Qualifications
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer or Builder within a construction or project management firm
- Sound knowledge of building methods, construction technology, and health & safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or Revit is a significant advantage
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple site activities concurrently
