Job Description

Interocean is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer specializing in Mechanical & Drilling Equipment for immediate requirements within the offshore oil and gas sector. This role focuses on critical engineering support for semi-submersible and drillship Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) projects.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on long-term assignments with immediate commencement. Project locations are diverse, spanning across the United States, United Arab Emirates, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region, offering significant international exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee CATIV equipment overhaul processes, both offshore and in workshops.
  • Collaborate with OEM contractors for drilling equipment, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Required 5-10 years of experience on various MODU projects.
  • Proven experience with Drillship Drilling and Mechanical equipment.
  • Demonstrated capability as a Conditions Assessment lead, conducting CATIII inspections offshore.
  • Experience with CATIV equipment overhaul, both offshore and in workshops.
  • Previous experience working with OEM contractors for drilling equipment is highly beneficial.
