Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport products within the warehouse during backshift.
  • Accurately and carefully load and unload goods.
  • Maintain organized storage areas to ensure inventory is accessible and secure.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and promptly report any maintenance needs.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to foster a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist with stocktaking and inventory management during shifts.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Forklift Truck License (Counterbalance and/or Reach) is mandatory.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts, preferably in a warehouse or production environment.
  • A thorough understanding of health and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
  • Reliability and flexibility to consistently work backshift hours.
