Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Account Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is essential for managing and coordinating domestic shipments, including those to Canada, for our Polymers business.
You will be responsible for the entire order lifecycle, from initial placement in SAP through to final delivery to the customer. This involves close collaboration with various internal departments such as plant operations, warehouses, demand planning, sales, logistics, and the credit department.
Key responsibilities include managing inventory and replenishment at packaging and bulk warehouses, balancing customer demands with logistical and product constraints, and ensuring timely communication with all stakeholders to meet customer requirements.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate domestic (including Canada) shipments for the Polymers business from order placement to customer delivery.
- Coordinate and communicate with plant, warehouses, demand planner, pricing coordinator, sales, logistics, credit department, and technical center.
- Manage inventory and replenishment at packaging and bulk warehouses, lease tracks, and consignment tracks.
- Balance customer demands with logistical, financial, and product limitations.
- Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Enter orders into SAP, check availability, quota, and credit, and process delivery notes, batch selection, shipping, goods issuing, and invoicing.
- Process credit and debit memos, and prepare summary billed invoices.
- Provide and obtain shipping information for Canadian-bound shipments to ensure smooth border passage.
- Monitor and control product inventory at customer railroad sidings, lease tracks, and warehouses.
- Reconcile inventory at the end of each month and provide reports to chemical accounting.
- Coordinate new customer set-up with sales, logistics, and credit, and maintain customer master data in SAP.
- Provide technical information (data sheets/MSDS) and coordinate technical assistance to customers.
- Reconcile invoice pricing discrepancies with relevant parties, adhering to established business rules.
- Ensure compliance with foreign and domestic laws and regulations, advising management of their impact.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, including sales, management, credit, technical service, plant shipping, logistics, demand planning, and third-party warehouses.
- Provide complete, accurate, and timely feedback to all customers, maintaining business awareness of financial goals and safeguarding proprietary information.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, including attending meetings and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on business.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of related domestic laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
