Key Responsibilities

  • Support field-level operations and act as a liaison between corporate and field offices.
  • Engage in social investment and community engagement activities.

  • Conduct supply chain analyses, market research, and data/process analysis.
  • Learn skills necessary for success in sales through formal mentoring, training, and field work.
  • Gain sales and sales-related experience within the Lubricants business, focusing on sales-adjacent functions.
  • Interact with federal and state government agencies on oil and gas regulatory issues.
  • Work with landowners and land professionals to obtain leases and title documents.
  • Gain experience in designing, building, and maintaining Chevron facilities.
  • Support day-to-day operations of Chevron's facilities.
  • Develop, design, build, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Identify, scope, evaluate, and facilitate project completion.
  • Manage oil and gas producing properties and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Evaluate field performance opportunities and maximize property value.
  • Provide solutions to increase the value of heavy oil assets and unconventional reservoirs.
  • Advise on environmental regulatory requirements and build best practices.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits, developing procedures and courses to optimize safety.
  • Conduct exposure assessments and audits, evaluate exposure controls, and develop risk assessment techniques.
  • Transport crude oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and refined products.
  • Manage marine risk and provide operational, technical, and commercial support.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree.
  • Understanding of social investment and community engagement activities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to advise stakeholders.
  • Awareness of the implications of the political structure and environment in the energy sector.
  • Ability to identify and manage social impacts, external stakeholders, and public policy issues.

  • Pursuing an MBA for the Downstream & Chemicals program.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in relevant Earth Science fields (Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in relevant Engineering fields (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Reliability, Materials, Naval Architecture).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Industrial Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, Occupational Safety and Health, relevant Engineering fields, Environmental Engineering/Science, Fire Protection/Safety Science, or Geology/Hydrogeology.
  • Completed two years of undergraduate study in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Marine Transportation, or Maritime Business Administration.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering (Production, Reservoir, Heavy Oil/Unconventional Resources).
