Job Description

Jump 450 Media is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Motion Graphics Designer/Editor to join their team on a contract basis. This role is crucial for creating and iterating on high-performing direct response (DR) creative assets across various digital platforms, including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

You will be responsible for a hybrid of motion graphics, video editing, and AI-assisted production, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The primary focus is on rapid testing and optimization of creative elements, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to final deliverables.

Key responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing motion and video ads, re-cutting footage, adapting animated graphics, and creating variations for A/B testing. You will also develop mood boards and styleframes, leverage stock footage and AI tools, and maintain exceptional project hygiene with organized files and clear naming conventions.

This position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to platform trends, and delivering assets in various formats and aspect ratios. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-turnover environment and possesses a strong understanding of direct response marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute motion + video ads, and supporting static assets for performance testing.
  • Build direct response-first motion systems, including kinetic typography, punchy transitions, UI-style overlays, callouts, infographics, and performance-driven effects.
  • Re-cut existing footage, adapt animated graphics, and create net-new variations for A/B testing and rapid iteration.
  • Develop moodboards, styleframes, and storyboards to align internally and with clients before production.
  • Leverage stock footage/imagery, SFX, and AI-assisted tools to expedite production, especially for brands with limited existing content.
  • Maintain exceptional project hygiene, including naming conventions, layer structure, and organized project files for fast handoffs and easy revisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay on top of platform trends (paid + organic) and translate them into ad-ready creative patterns.
  • Deliver across required formats/aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9, etc.) and placements with strong attention to specs.

Qualifications

  • Organized and collaborative hybrid designer capable of executing cleanly at scale and thriving in a fast-turn environment.
  • Strong design eye with a direct response sensibility (clarity, hierarchy, pacing, hooks, CTAs).
  • Comfortable producing stills, motion graphics, and video edits (not motion-only).
  • Excellent file organization and project hygiene (naming conventions, clean layers, structured comps/timelines) is non-negotiable.
  • Ability to follow team systems and processes, including templates, shared files, and handoffs.
  • Experience working at a high pace; agency experience is a strong plus.
  • Flexibility and adaptability for integrating new tools, especially AI-assisted workflows.
