Job Description

SNP Cloud Technologies is seeking a visionary Technical Lead and Architect to join our AI & ML department. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the formation and growth of our AI team, leveraging your profound expertise in Microsoft Azure AI services.

In this role, you will architect and define the overarching AI strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our long-term business objectives. You will conduct thorough technical assessments to identify how Azure AI services can significantly enhance our capabilities and evaluate external AI tools to complement our platform.

You will provide essential technical leadership throughout the entire AI development lifecycle, from data engineering and model selection to deployment, optimization, and ongoing monitoring. A key aspect of this role is championing responsible AI practices, ensuring that explainability, fairness, and ethical considerations are embedded in every solution.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and define the overarching AI strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
Conduct a comprehensive technical assessment to identify areas where Microsoft Azure AI services can significantly enhance our capabilities.
Possess deep expertise in core Microsoft Azure AI services (Computer Vision, NLP, Speech Services, Machine Learning) and their advanced functionalities.
Evaluate and integrate best-in-class AI tools beyond Azure to address specific needs that fall outside the primary platform’s scope.
Provide technical leadership throughout the AI development lifecycle, from data engineering and model selection to deployment, optimization, and monitoring.
Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring explainability, fairness, and ethical considerations are embedded throughout the development process.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Drive innovation by staying abreast of cutting-edge advancements in AI research and identifying opportunities for future-proof solutions.

Qualifications

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience with a proven track record of significant technical contributions).
Minimum 6 – 8+ years of experience leading and executing complex AI projects.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services.
Extensive hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, reinforcement learning etc.).
Strong understanding of software development best practices (Agile methodologies, DevOps etc.) and their application to AI projects.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
