Job Description

Moniepoint is seeking a talented Branch Project Architect to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is central to our mission of creating financial happiness by ensuring our physical branches are built to the highest standards, reflecting the innovation and reliability of our digital services.

You will be responsible for translating architectural visions into tangible spaces, working closely with our Lead Architect. Your duties will encompass coordinating stakeholders, managing technical documentation, and overseeing construction to ensure adherence to design intent. This position requires a hands-on approach, deep understanding of construction realities in Nigeria, and a commitment to delivering excellence in every project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate design briefs into coordinated technical drawings and construction details ready for site execution and planning approvals.
  • Review working drawings and material specifications, partnering with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants.
  • Conduct regular site visits across Nigeria, leading site meetings with contractors and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Maintain high standards for documentation and version control, tracking progress and providing transparent reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with Quantity Surveyors and the Procurement team to manage contracts, certify work packages, and advise on variations or valuations.
  • Snag completed projects and supervise final touches to ensure branches reflect Moniepoint's brand excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, or equivalent).
  • 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in design and construction within Nigeria.
  • Significant comfort and experience on construction sites.
  • Mastery of precision software including AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, or ArchiCAD.
  • Ability to create photorealistic imagery using Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar engines.
  • ARCON/NIA registration (completed or in progress) is preferred.
  • Experience with commercial or corporate projects, specifically involving facade systems and glazing, is preferred.
  • A solid grasp of project management basics: Scope, Time, Cost, and Quality.
