We are seeking a Senior Insights Analyst to join our RFI Global Council Insights team, focusing on serving our financial services clients across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise in analyzing primary voice-of-customer data, secondary macro data, and understanding business and client priorities.

In this fast-paced environment, you will develop profound expertise in financial services insights, with a strong emphasis on creating actionable outputs that support client decision-making. We pride ourselves on being client-centric, continuously evolving our insights, research, and products to stay ahead of the market and meet evolving client needs. You will play a key role in supporting client presentations and serving as the insights subject matter expert.

This position is crucial for uncovering emerging trends and themes, and for producing impactful deliverables. You will witness firsthand the influence of your work on some of the largest financial services brands in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support regular client presentations and research brief sessions.
  • Influence the design of research briefs and the analytical approach.
  • Utilize insights and data to construct compelling narratives and drive client action, ensuring research deliverables meet their needs and priorities.
  • Conduct quantitative market research analysis with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency.
  • Develop client-ready research and insight-led PowerPoint presentations.
  • Employ research and data tools, including AI.
  • Analyze secondary data, including economic and financial sources, to triangulate and contextualize RFI’s primary research.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with team members across sales, client services, operations, and research in our London, Singapore, Sydney, and Melbourne offices.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a market research agency, consultancy, or a similar professional environment.
  • A degree in any academic discipline.
  • A client-focused approach, with the confidence to present deliverables effectively to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting analysis using Microsoft Excel or statistical analysis software such as Q, SPSS, or similar is highly valued.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Prior banking or financial services experience is highly valued, though not essential.
  • A curious and proactive mindset, demonstrated through insightful questioning and forward-thinking.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, fostering a positive team environment and driving collective success.
  • An interest in developing and delivering client presentations. Previous client presentation experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training and development will be provided.
