Job Description
Midnite is seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to support its expansion and operations within Canada.
This pivotal role sits at the intersection of compliance, product, marketing, and operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory expectations while enabling business agility and responsibility.
You will be instrumental in embedding scalable compliance processes, supporting regulatory readiness, and safeguarding both players and the business during a period of significant growth.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret Canadian gambling regulations, including AGCO and iGaming Ontario requirements
- Review and approve marketing campaigns, promotions, and player communications
- Support responsible gambling and player protection initiatives
- Assist with AML and financial crime compliance processes
- Review product features and player journeys for regulatory impact
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting obligations
- Maintain compliance documentation, controls, and governance tracking
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering teams to embed compliance by design
- Identify and mitigate regulatory risks across operational processes
- Provide pragmatic compliance guidance to stakeholders across the business
Qualifications
- Experience working within regulated iGaming or betting environments
- Understanding of Canadian gambling regulations, particularly Ontario requirements
- Experience reviewing gambling marketing and promotions from a compliance perspective
- Understanding of responsible gambling and player protection principles
- Exposure to AML and financial crime compliance processes
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across teams
- Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments
