Key Responsibilities

  • Directly participate in field construction, including planning, execution, quantity verification, and safety.
  • Communicate project needs for materials, manpower, and equipment to the Project Superintendent.
  • Coordinate daily tasks based on established priorities and project plans.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and to Wilco's high-quality standards.
  • Verify subcontractor compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Train staff on Wilco procedures and safe work practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a construction superintendent or foreman, with a preference for civil construction background.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction equipment operation.
  • Proficiency in numeracy, record-keeping, and technology usage.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, grade stakes, and utilize a laser level.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with a crew of 3-5 individuals.
  • Advanced knowledge of fundamental landscaping principles, including grading, planting, and hardscape.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive team culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
