Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Central Control Room (CCR) Officer to join our packing plant operations at the Ibese Plant. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing all aspects of the packing process from our central control room. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely packing of products, monitoring equipment performance, and collaborating with various teams to achieve optimal production output and uphold stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the entire packing process from the control room and ensure optimal operation of all equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting packing plant equipment and coordinating maintenance when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and safety regulations during packing operations.
Conduct regular checks on the quality of packed products and immediately report any discrepancies.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize packing schedules and minimize downtime.
Document and maintain records of packing operations including production reports, discrepancies, and maintenance activity.
Train new staff on CCR operations and packing procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 2 to 9 years of experience in a packing plant or production environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using control room monitoring systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational conditions.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protocols in a manufacturing environment.
