Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor with a strong engineering background to oversee renovation and construction projects. This role is critical for ensuring that all on-site activities comply with drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
You will act as the primary on-site representative, coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include monitoring work quality, enforcing timelines, identifying potential issues, and proposing technical solutions. Ensuring site safety and proper construction methods will be paramount.
The location for this role will vary depending on project assignments, but will primarily be in Lagos. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site representative for renovation and construction works.
- Supervise structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide daily site updates, including progress, photos, issues, and required decisions.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and enforce timelines and sequencing.
- Identify potential issues early and suggest technical or construction solutions.
- Ensure site safety, compliance, and proper construction methods.
- Track progress against the schedule and flag delays or cost risks.
- Liaise between designers, engineers, contractors, and inspectors.
- Support problem-solving during construction.
Qualifications
- Background in engineering (civil, structural, or building services preferred).
- Strong understanding of structural works, MEP, and construction sequencing.
- Proven experience supervising renovation or construction sites.
- Excellent contractor coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, details, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Confident decision-maker with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable using site reporting tools (photos, checklists, progress logs).
- Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and finish.
