Job Description

Epoch AI is seeking talented and detail-oriented Data Scientists to join our research team on a contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI research with flexible, part-time hours.

In this position, you will be instrumental in gathering and analyzing critical data related to AI inputs, impacts, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include meticulously reviewing technical literature, tracking benchmark data, compiling details on AI companies and their data centers, and analyzing financial disclosures and news media. The insights you generate will be vital for our research products and will help inform international AI policy decisions.

This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility in terms of location and working hours. While we welcome applicants from all time zones, some overlap with UTC-7/8 (Pacific Time) for occasional meetings is expected.
