Job Description

We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Officer to manage our reception area and provide essential administrative support.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your responsibilities will include managing visitor logs, handling incoming calls and correspondence, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area, and supporting the HR/Admin team with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to visitors and calls promptly, ensuring all guests are received and directed within 2 minutes of arrival
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, call records, and correspondence, ensuring proper documentation at all times
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the workday
  • Receive and distribute all documents, parcels, and messages same-day without delays
  • Support meeting room setup, ensuring required items (e.g., stationery, refreshments) are available before meetings commence
  • Monitor and ensure continuous availability of front desk and restroom consumables, raising requests ahead of shortages
  • Liaise with cleaning/facility team to maintain consistent hygiene standards
  • Maintain records and provide timely administrative support to the HR/Admin team

Qualifications

  • OND/HND/BSc in Business Administration or related field
  • 2–3 years relevant experience in a structured work environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Well-presented, organized, and service-oriented with attention to detail
