Job Description

Sports Roots Africa Limited is actively seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented General Manager to spearhead our Sports Events & Operations division. This critical role is designed for a strategic leader who can effectively translate vision into action, ensuring the flawless execution of all sports events across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all Sports Roots Africa events.
Oversee logistics, venues, vendors, officials, staffing, and matchday operations.
Act as the lead on-ground decision-maker during events.
Manage and motivate operational teams, volunteers, and consultants.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a senior operational or general management role, preferably within the sports or events industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and large-scale events.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in event logistics, vendor negotiation, and operational planning.
