Job Description

Mindera is actively seeking a highly skilled Staff SFCC Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, optimizing, and maintaining the user interface for our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications. You will collaborate closely with product teams and designers to craft intuitive and engaging shopping experiences that drive business success.

This position requires a leader who can drive frontend architecture decisions, ensuring our e-commerce applications are high-performing, maintainable, scalable, and responsive across all devices. You will be a key player in integrating RESTful APIs and ensuring seamless data flow throughout the platform.

Beyond development, you will contribute significantly to our engineering culture by conducting code reviews, establishing best practices, and mentoring both junior and senior engineers. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving complex technical challenges, optimizing performance, and championing engineering standards, including CI/CD best practices. You will also contribute to technical roadmap planning and solution design, staying abreast of emerging frontend technologies and SFCC capabilities to foster continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable frontend solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) using modern frontend technologies and best practices.
Drive frontend architecture decisions, ensuring high performance, maintainability, scalability, and responsiveness across eCommerce applications.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs while ensuring efficient data flow across the platform.
Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor junior and senior engineers to foster technical excellence.
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
Champion engineering standards, coding guidelines, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices.
Contribute to technical roadmap planning, solution design, estimation, and sprint planning.
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, SFCC capabilities, and eCommerce trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

7–15+ years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in frontend development and eCommerce platforms.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including SFRA architecture and storefront customization.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
Experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, frontend integration patterns, and headless commerce concepts.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
Good understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional global teams.
Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and influence architectural decisions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
